Road to Change is returning to Scotland and on Saturday 7th February 2015, Matthew (awarded top Scot 2014) will complete his epic 10,000 mile walk through Europe in Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh.

Matty, a survivor of child sexual abuse himself, embarked on this mammoth task on 31st May 2013, putting his television career on hold, to visit 29 countries on foot raising awareness that every fifth child is sexually abused and ask every European Government to upload the rights of their children.

On the ’Road to Change’, Matthew has been invited to speak at the United Nations, received a personal audience with Pope Francis and was joined for a walk by Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland. Matty has now been awarded the prestigious title ’Top Scot 2014’ at the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Awards for most inspirational Scots, voted for by the people of Scotland.

Let’s all now stand up for our rights of our children and walk the last mile of his amazing journey with Matty. Which mile? Scotland’s most famous mile of course. Gather on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle and walk together down the Royal Mile to The Scottish Parliament at Hollyrood.

Attending the event is FREE but to gauge numbers Edinburgh Police have asked us register those coming along. Simply fill in your details below and the number of people in your party, then on the morning of the walk collect your official Road to Change wristbands for your group.

We will gather from 10 am including all the bands on Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle and set off at 11 am sharp.
